“It’s All Greek” to Frankfurt Book Fair-Goers

"Books on Greece" display includes 2,200 titles on Greece as seen from 21 countries.
A display of 2,200 titles from the lists of 430 publishing companies in a total of 21 countries are brought together in the collection "Books on Greece", offered as the Frankfurt Book Fair's contribution to the focus on Greece at this year's Fair. The collection will be a highlight of presentations from the Guest of Honor.

A team at the Book Fair has spent months researching books that deal with Greek culture or introduce Greek literature in the widest range of different languages around the world. With 113 titles, the Greek classics naturally have an important role to play, followed by contemporary Greek literature. But the scope of this exhibition is considerably wider. It brings together novels, short stories and travel reports on Greece, works on its history and archaeology, the social sciences and humanities as well as art.

The "Books on Greece" exhibition that comes with a complete bibliographic catalogue, offers a fascinating and well-informed overview of the themes and concepts associated around the world with this year's Guest of Honor.
